Andrea Dobin, Chair of the firm's Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights Practice Group, focuses her practice in bankruptcy and insolvency issues. She represents a variety of interested parties in all types of bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 7 Trustees, secured creditors in Chapter 13 proceedings, Creditors' Committees in Chapter 11 proceedings, and litigants in adversary proceedings commenced in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings. In addition, Ms. Dobin counsels clients in non-bankruptcy-related business areas usually involving asset acquisition and liquidation.

Ms. Dobin has been a member of the panel of private Chapter 7 Trustees since 1999 and has been representing other Chapter 7 and 11 trustees for more than 15 years. She also serves as the only Chapter 12 trustee in the few family farmer bankruptcies filed in the District of New Jersey each year.

Ms. Dobin's expertise is often sought by industry publications as a leading expert in the field. She is a co-author of the section of the New Jersey Bankruptcy Manual , published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education in 2006, on "Representing Chapter 7 Trustees." Ms. Dobin's article, "Managing the Right of First Refusal of Co-Owners of Property in 11 U.S.C. Section 363(i)," was published in the Winter 2002/2003 issue of NABTalk, the magazine of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees.

Ms. Dobin is a past president of the Alpha Chi Omega National Housing Corporation and served on its Board of Directors from 2002-2004.
